I’ve been using the Smart Virtual Thermostat plugin for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my smart home setup. I currently have five of these plugins running, each controlling different heating zones in my house. The ability to set lower temperatures when I’m asleep or away has significantly helped in reducing my energy bills. However, I recently encountered an issue where some thermostats weren’t behaving as expected. One of them showed a setpoint of 20°C but didn’t activate the heater despite the room temperature being lower. After some research, I realized it might be the self-learning function causing confusion. I managed to reset the parameters, and now everything works smoothly again. If anyone else is facing similar issues, I’d recommend checking the self-learning feature or resetting the plugin settings. It’s a minor hiccup in an otherwise excellent tool. I’m really satisfied with how this plugin integrates into my system and would definitely recommend it to others looking to optimize their home heating.
