Hello everyone, I’ve been working on integrating SmartConnector with EBO and KABA Server, and I wanted to share my experiences and some solutions I found along the way. Hopefully, this can help others who are facing similar issues.
First, I noticed that SmartConnector stopped sending data to EBO. All the tags were showing uncertain states and were set to 0. After some research, I realized that the issue might be related to how the tags were configured in the EWS server. I made sure that all the tags were properly mapped and that the interfaces were correctly set up. It took some time, but eventually, the data started flowing correctly again.
Another challenge I faced was claiming the necessary token for the integration. I followed the guide provided, but I kept getting errors. After some digging, I found out that there was a newer token available that hadn’t been mentioned in the documentation. Updating to the new token resolved the issue, and the integration worked smoothly after that.
For those who are new to this, I’d recommend starting with a basic setup and gradually adding more features. It’s also important to keep your software updated and to refer to the latest documentation, as things can change quite frequently.
