After many years of frustration with SmartThings, I have moved to HE. I am much happier. One of the things I had to do to keep my ST hub working was to do a cold reboot of the hub once a week. Is there any benefit to doing this with the HE hub? I tried to configure Nodon Octan remote into my VeraLite UI5 and VeraEdge UI7 for scene management but found very strange not being properly configured to set the scene association. In UI5, I can’t see the scene list box for 4 buttons ON and OFF. In UI7, it requests me to enter the number of buttons then create the scene list box for each button but no naming on which button # (except “false”). I also installed Aeon Minimote before which is very straight forward that I can use “Advance ZWave Device” Option then “add one” for battery-powered secondary scene in UI5. In UI7, I can even find the right brand Z device for configuration without any issue. Anyone can help? Many thanks. I’m excited to get my second Dreamcolor lights! Any suggestions where they should go? I was thinking my bed or the family TV. I’ve managed to integrate my Netatmo weather station and thermostat up to a point. It works in the Smartthings app in as much as I get a tile that I can flip between the inside temperature and the target temperature for the heating. I’m using ActionTiles for my dashboard and have a tile that shows the inside temperature but it doesn’t allow me to adjust the target temperature. If I add a tile, I have an entry for the Netatmo thermostat but it doesn’t show anything for heating controls. Anyone got any idea? Cheers A. I’m thinking about purchasing a google home speaker to use with my ST v2 hub. I see that it is compatible with ST but I’m not sure what all the current capabilities are. Has anyone been able to use the speaker as a SHM alert siren or door chime? I assume you can execute routines and toggle things but I’m curious what else it can do… I’m excited to get my second Dreamcolor lights! Any suggestions where they should go?
