SmartHome Journey: Integrating Fibaro Devices with Hubitat

Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! :rocket: I wanted to share my recent journey of migrating from SmartThings to Hubitat, particularly focusing on integrating my existing Fibaro devices. This was a big step for me, and I’m thrilled with how it’s come together so far!

The Setup

I’ve been using Fibaro devices for years, and while they’ve been reliable, I’ve noticed performance issues with SmartThings. With a system that includes 9 FGR 222 blind modules, 8 FGS 223 double switch modules, and 35 FGD 212 dimmer modules, I knew I needed a more robust platform. Enter Hubitat! :star2:

The Migration Process

I decided to set up Hubitat alongside my existing SmartThings hub. The plan was to sync the hubs and gradually move devices over. I started with the physically closer devices, which made the process manageable.
