Hello everyone, I’m trying to set up a SmartTag in my wife’s car for safety reasons. She sometimes goes into areas that aren’t safe, so having this added layer of security is really important to us. We’re using a Samsung S24+ phone, and we’ve noticed that the SmartTag doesn’t update the network when she’s out. However, it does update when she’s near another Samsung phone. This is a bit concerning because we need the SmartTag to work consistently, regardless of other devices being nearby.
I was wondering if there’s a specific setting on her phone that we might have missed. Maybe there’s a configuration that can ensure the SmartTag updates even when she’s not near another Samsung device. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or perhaps found a workaround? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Let’s hope we can find a solution soon to ensure her safety isn’t compromised. Thanks in advance for your help!
