I’ve also been experimenting with automating my home using SmartThings. One thing I’m curious about is creating a beam-like motion sensor setup, where breaking the beam triggers a notification. I’m not sure if such a sensor exists or how to configure it. If anyone has experience with this, I’d love to hear about it!
