Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some advice regarding my SmartThings setup. I recently installed a new system with over 100 Fibaro light switches, both dimmers and non-dimmers, and while individual switches work perfectly, I’m encountering some issues with Scenes and Automations.
After setting up a room with about a dozen switches, I noticed that while each switch operates smoothly on its own, Scenes that involve multiple switches are experiencing significant delays. For example, turning on a Scene with four switches might only activate two or three, and even when I retry, it doesn’t always resolve the issue. This is puzzling because individual commands and physical switch interactions are nearly instantaneous.
I’ve tried troubleshooting by checking the firmware versions and ensuring all devices are up to date. I also tested Scenes with fewer devices, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is a known issue with SmartThings or if it might be related to the Fibaro switches themselves.
Has anyone else experienced similar delays with Scenes involving multiple devices? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m hoping to find a solution that allows me to use Scenes reliably without the current hiccups.
Thanks in advance for your help!
