Hello everyone, I recently purchased the SmartThings Starter Kit with the hub model STH-ETH-250. I followed the setup instructions carefully: installed the app on my phone, inserted the batteries, connected the Ethernet and power cables, and created a location in the app. However, when attempting to add the hub, it doesn’t show up automatically. I tried manually registering it, and while I got to 40% progress with the welcome code, I encountered an error: ‘No network connection - A network or server error occurred. Try again later.’
I’ve reset the hub using the reset button and confirmed my phone’s internet connection works (tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data). Interestingly, when clicking the Customer Service link, the web page briefly shows a network change error before loading correctly. This makes me think there might be an issue with how the app is connecting to the internet.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Any troubleshooting tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I’m really hoping to get this set up and working properly. Thanks in advance for your help!
