SmartThings Integration with Nuki Lock: A Smooth Experience

I’ve recently integrated my Nuki Smart Lock with the SmartThings ecosystem, and I must say, it’s been a seamless experience! The Nuki Manager has been instrumental in making this integration possible. For those who haven’t tried it yet, it’s a fantastic tool that allows you to control your Nuki locks directly through the SmartThings app. It supports a variety of models, including the Nuki 3.0, which I have, and even works with the Nuki Bridge for added functionality.

One feature I particularly love is the Lock n Go function, which automatically locks the door when you walk away, giving me peace of mind. The integration also supports real-time updates, so I can always check the status of my locks from my phone. The setup process was straightforward—just pair the Nuki devices with the bridge using the Nuki mobile app and follow the instructions on the RBoy Apps website.

However, I did run into a minor issue with the bridge discovery process initially. It required enabling API Quick Discovery on the Nuki app and a quick factory reset to get everything running smoothly. Once that was sorted, everything worked like clockwork.

If you’re looking to integrate your Nuki locks into SmartThings, I highly recommend checking out the Nuki Manager. It’s a game-changer for enhancing your smart home setup. I’m now exploring how to use this integration alongside other devices, like my smart cameras, to create a more secure home environment.

Has anyone else tried integrating Nuki locks with SmartThings? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have!
