I’ve been exploring the SmartThings ecosystem and have a question about checking the power state of a smart outlet. I want to automate turning off the outlet when a contact sensor is triggered, but I’m not sure how to verify if the outlet is on or off. Has anyone figured this out? I’d love to hear your solutions!
On another note, I’ve had great success integrating my Kwikset 916 lock with my 2Gig panel, though it doesn’t show up on alarm.com like my other Kwikset devices. I’m curious if others have encountered this and if there’s a workaround. It’s been a smooth experience otherwise!
Lastly, I stumbled upon a neat feature for controlling my lawn mower via the Landroid-Cloud. It’s amazing how automation can make yard work easier. I’d love to hear if anyone else has set something similar up!
