Hi everyone! I recently purchased a SmartThings outlet from Amazon, which worked perfectly for a day before suddenly stopping. I reached out to SmartThings Support, but it took almost a week for a response. In the meantime, I contacted Amazon, who refunded me. However, SmartThings mentioned that warranty support is only available if the item was purchased from Hitfar, Lowe’s, or Samsung in Canada. This is confusing, as every retailer I checked indicated a 1-year manufacturer warranty. I’m hesitant to purchase more SmartThings products for my and my mother’s homes without clarification. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d appreciate any insights or advice on navigating this warranty issue. Thanks in advance for your help!
