Hey everyone, I’m trying to transfer a custom watch face I created back in 2019 to my new Samsung Galaxy Watch. Unfortunately, the transfer keeps crashing around 65% with an error message related to the file path. I’ve followed the same process I used before, which involved a mix of troubleshooting steps and a bit of trial and error. Here’s what I’ve been doing:
- Rebooting both the watch and phone
- Ensuring Bluetooth is off and Wi-Fi is on
- Enabling debugging mode on the phone
- Using Samsung Galaxy Watch Studio (GWS) to initiate the transfer
Despite these steps, the transfer consistently fails. I’ve scoured the forums and tried various solutions, but nothing seems to work. My watch is a Samsung Galaxy Watch (46mm, GPS, Bluetooth) running Tizen 5.5.0.2, and GWS is on Version 2.0.0 Beta. I can’t figure out how to share a screenshot of the error, but the main issue is with the SDB command failing due to a path issue.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I’d greatly appreciate any advice or alternative methods to get my watch face transferred successfully. If anyone has tips for avoiding common pitfalls during the transfer process, I’d love to hear them too! This watch face is really important to me, and I’d hate to lose it.
