Thank you for sharing. I am new to motion sensors like this. This really has me thinking of ways I can use it in my own home.

Hope it’s better than the sonoff one. That was hopeless.

In my humble opinion, this is amazing compared to the SONOFF one.

This would make a good replacement for my PIR sensor in my hallway. It’s pitch black as there are no windows. My lights keep going off while I’m still in the hallway. As has been stated here already this would fix that problem for me in an L shaped hallway. Would deffo be interested in getting this when it’s released.

This looks really promising, thanks for sharing! This looks like it would be ideal for the keeping the light on while we’re bathing the dog! I have an Aqara motion sensor in there at the moment, but like with all motion sensors, the light turns off if we haven’t moved around massively for a while.

Do you think the magnet is strong enough to be ceiling mounted?

Yes, the magnetic attachment is quite strong.

It’s not in the Homey Aqara app since it’s not released yet, but since it’s Zigbee & Thread, we should be able to add into Homey Pro and Homey Pro Mini.

Looking good and compact for its capabilities.

the biggest improvement for me is that it has no cable, has a temperature, lux meter, humidity sensor on board . 4 in 1 That’s awesome

Alright, thanks! I can’t wait for it to release! Everyday it’s like WHEN DOES IT COME OUT??? I haven’t found any confirmed release dates yet. I don’t think Aqara has confirmed a date yet, but i can’t wait :melting_face:

That’s perfect. Do I need a HUB for this ?

You’ll either need a ZigBee hub or a Thread border router to connect it. It does not connect over WiFi

You will need an Aqara hub in ZigBee mode, or a relevant hub for your smart home of choice (Apple Tv etc. ) in Thread mode.
