Solving Calendar Sync Issues for a Seamless Smart Home Experience

I’ve been trying to get my Google Calendar fully integrated into my smart home setup, but I’m running into some issues. I’ve set up the API connectivity, and while some events show up in my Home Assistant calendar, others are missing. Specifically, only two of my monthly appointments are visible, and I can’t figure out why. I’ve checked my Google Calendar settings, ensured all events are in the correct calendar, and even tried creating test events on both my computer and phone, but none of them appear in Home Assistant. It’s frustrating because I rely on this integration to manage my schedule effectively.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Google Calendar sync? I’d love to hear if there are any troubleshooting steps or workarounds that might help resolve this.

On a lighter note, as we approach the holiday season, I’m thinking of setting up some smart home features to make Christmas preparations easier. Maybe automating lights or scheduling music playlists. But first, I need to get my calendar working smoothly so I can plan everything without missing important dates.
