Solving Camera False Alerts with Arlo Secure

As a homeowner, I’ve been relying on Arlo cameras for security, but the constant false alerts have been a real nuisance. After years of dealing with moth and insect triggers, I was hopeful that Arlo’s advanced AI in their Secure subscription would finally solve this issue. However, the problem persists, and it’s frustrating to be woken up every night by unnecessary alerts.

I understand that the camera will trigger, but paying for a service that can’t reliably distinguish between a moth and a person feels like a letdown. The support team hasn’t provided any meaningful solutions, and their troubleshooting steps like rebooting or reinstalling the app don’t address the core issue.

After some research, I found that others have had similar experiences. While Arlo’s AI might not be perfect yet, there are a few workarounds I’ve discovered. For instance, adjusting the camera’s sensitivity settings and ensuring it’s placed in an area with minimal environmental interference can help reduce false alerts.

I’m hopeful that Arlo will improve their AI in future updates, but in the meantime, these adjustments have made the system more manageable. If anyone has additional tips or solutions, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the conversation going and find ways to make our security systems more reliable. :rocket:
