Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Pan Cam motion detection feature. I’ve been using it on my patio for a while now, but I noticed that during certain times of the afternoon, the camera would detect motion caused by tree shadows. At first, it was a bit frustrating because I kept getting false alerts.
I did some research and found that adjusting the camera’s position slightly helped reduce the issue. I also played around with the sensitivity settings in the Wyze app. Lowering the sensitivity a bit made a big difference without compromising the camera’s ability to detect real motion.
