Solving Shelly Sensor Connectivity Issues

I recently encountered a challenge with my Shelly sensors, and I wanted to share my experience in resolving it. After setting up my Shelly 1 and Shelly Motion sensors, I noticed that the Motion sensor consistently displayed ‘Ausstehende Verbindung’ (Outstanding Connection) and lacked the cloud indicator seen on the Shelly 1. This was puzzling, as both devices were detected without issues in my network. After some research and troubleshooting, I realized that the problem might be related to the firmware or the initial setup process. I decided to perform a factory reset on the Shelly Motion sensor, ensuring all previous configurations were cleared. Post-reset, I carefully followed the setup steps again, making sure to connect it through the Shelly app rather than relying solely on the network IP address. To my relief, the issue was resolved! The Shelly Motion now connects seamlessly, and the cloud indicator is active, just like the Shelly 1. This experience taught me the importance of thorough setup and not hesitating to reset devices when encountering connectivity issues.
