Hey everyone, I’ve been tinkering with Home Assistant for a while now, and I’ve stumbled upon something that piqued my curiosity. I noticed that when using the entities card, I get a relative time since the last change, which is super handy for keeping track of updates. However, when I switched to using the bignumber-card or the picture-elements-card, the time display changed to an absolute format, and I couldn’t figure out how to get the relative output back.
After some digging and experimenting, I discovered that the key lies in the configuration of the card itself. By adjusting the settings, I was able to revert to the relative time display, which made my dashboard much more user-friendly. This little tweak has been a game-changer for me, and I wanted to share my findings with the community in case anyone else was scratching their head over this too.
