Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Third Reality water leak sensors. I’ve been using one for over a year without any issues, but recently, I decided to add two more to my setup. Unfortunately, they didn’t work as expected—no alerts when they should have detected water.
I started by checking the logs, and I noticed some errors related to unsupported attributes. It was a bit confusing, but I realized the sensors might not be configured correctly. I tried updating the firmware, resetting them, and even changing the driver, but nothing worked.
After some research, I found that the issue might be with the reporting configuration. I adjusted the settings in my Vera system to ensure the sensors were properly monitored. To my relief, it worked! They now detect leaks and send alerts without any problems.
This experience taught me the importance of checking configurations and not giving up easily. If anyone else is facing similar issues, I recommend reviewing your device settings and ensuring all firmware is up to date. Happy leaking no more!
