Solving Zigbee Connectivity Issues with Hubitat

I recently upgraded my Hubitat system to the latest firmware and encountered some connectivity issues with my Zigbee devices, particularly after a power cycle. For those who might be experiencing similar problems, I wanted to share my troubleshooting journey and the solution I found.

Initially, my Zigbee network went offline after a power reset. I tried the usual troubleshooting steps—resetting the radio, rebooting the device, and even downgrading the firmware—but nothing worked. The logs indicated that the Zigbee status was ‘offline,’ and the network details were blank. It was frustrating, especially since I was excited to start using the new features.

After some research, I stumbled upon a forum post suggesting that unplugging the device for an extended period (about 30 seconds) could help reset the radio. I decided to give it a try, and to my relief, it worked! The Zigbee network came back online, and all my devices reconnected without any issues.

This experience taught me the importance of patience and thorough troubleshooting. If you’re facing similar issues, I recommend trying a full power cycle by unplugging the device for a bit longer than usual. It might just be the reset your system needs.

I’d also like to mention how grateful I am for the Hubitat community. Without the collective knowledge shared in forums, I might still be stuck. If anyone has additional tips or experiences to share, I’d love to hear them!

Happy automating everyone! :rocket:
