Hi everyone! I recently added some Sonoff SNZB-04 door sensors and SNZB-02 temperature sensors to my smart home setup, replacing some older Aqara devices. The integration went smoothly, but I’ve noticed that the temperature sensor has a very short reporting interval, which I’m concerned might drain the battery quickly.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’m curious if there’s a way to adjust the reporting interval to something less frequent without affecting performance. Also, I noticed that the zigbee binding isn’t detecting battery levels on these sensors. Does anyone know if there’s a workaround or a setting I might have missed to monitor battery health?
For those looking to optimize their sensor setup, here’s a quick tip:
- Check your binding settings for any adjustable parameters that might control reporting intervals.
- Consider setting up a routine to remind yourself to check battery levels manually if automatic detection isn’t available.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences and tips! ![]()
