On another note, I’ve been experimenting with different ways to visualize my home’s energy consumption and temperature data. I’ve been using Datamine to log all sorts of metrics, but I’m running into an issue with graphing. Specifically, I’m trying to plot both the target and actual temperatures of my thermostat on the same graph. The problem is that each metric gets its own Y-axis, which makes it hard to compare them visually. I tried tweaking the units configuration, but it didn’t make a difference. Any tips on how to synchronize the Y-axes or adjust the scaling would be incredibly helpful!
Lastly, I wanted to share a fun project I’ve been working on. I’ve managed to set up a custom weather card using a combination of animated icons and real-time data.
