Spotlight and Night Vision Issues with Arlo Cameras

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I’ve been experiencing some frustrating issues with my Arlo cameras lately. It’s been working perfectly until just a few weeks ago, and now I’m a bit stuck. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has encountered something similar or might have a solution.

So, here’s what’s been happening: Whenever my camera detects motion and triggers a recording, the spotlight doesn’t come on as it should. I check the settings, and the spotlight is off, but when I manually turn it back on, it also activates the night vision mode. This is a bit confusing because the spotlight was working fine before, and now it’s not responding correctly. To make things worse, when I view the camera feed, it’s really dark and blurry because of the night vision. If I try to turn off the night vision, the spotlight turns off again, which is super annoying!

I’ve never had this problem before, and it seems like the Arlo cameras are getting less reliable over time. I’m wondering if this is a common issue or if there’s something specific I can do to fix it. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their Arlo cameras?
