Stelpro Thermostat Integration & Smart Home Tips

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with integrating a new Stelpro Allia thermostat into my smart home setup. I’ve been using the Stelpro Maestro for a while now, but I wanted to upgrade to the newer model for better compatibility and features. I’ve been working on creating a custom driver for it, but I’m running into some issues with the pairing process. Let me walk through what I’ve observed so far and maybe get some insights from the community.

When I pair the device, I notice there are two distinct signatures in the pairing info. Here’s what I see:

Manufacturer: Stello
Endpoint 19 application: 21
Endpoint 19 endpointId: 19
Endpoint 19 idAsInt: 25
Endpoint 19 inClusters: 0000,0003,0004,0201,0204
Endpoint 19 initialized: true
Endpoint 19 manufacturer: Stello
Endpoint 19 model: HT402
Endpoint 19 outClusters: 0003,000A,0402
Endpoint 19 profileId: 0104
Endpoint 19 stage: 4

Endpoint F2 application: unknown
Endpoint F2 endpointId: F2
Endpoint F2 idAsInt: 242
Endpoint F2 initialized: true
Endpoint F2 manufacturer: unknown
Endpoint F2 model: unknown
Endpoint F2 outClusters: 0021
Endpoint F2 profileId: A1E0
Endpoint F2 stage: 4

I’m wondering if these signatures are causing any issues with the driver integration. I’ve tried reaching out to the manufacturer for clarification, but I’m not sure if this is a common problem or something specific to my setup. If anyone has experience with similar devices or knows how to handle multiple signatures during pairing, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

On a different note, I’ve been experimenting with Wyze Cam v3 cameras and wanted to share a tip. If you’re mounting them in window corners, I’ve found that using flat power cables helps maintain a clean look without compromising the window seals. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in the overall aesthetics of the setup.

Lastly, I wanted to mention an issue I came across with the Wyze Socket. I have two of them controlling outdoor lights, but they weren’t working as expected when connected to the same switch. After some troubleshooting, I realized it was a wiring issue specific to the outdoor setup. If anyone else is having trouble with their Wyze Sockets in similar scenarios, double-checking the wiring configuration might be a good starting point.

I’m really enjoying the journey of customizing my smart home, and I’m grateful for the supportive community here. If anyone has questions or tips about these topics, feel free to reach out!
