I’ve been on a quest to find a smart dishwasher that integrates seamlessly with my existing SmartThings ecosystem, and I must say, it’s been quite the journey! 
After losing my trusty dishwasher, I assumed finding a smart replacement would be straightforward, but it turns out to be a bit of a puzzle. 
I’ve scoured Lowe’s, Best Buy, and even online marketplaces, but most models I come across don’t seem to have any SmartThings or Z-Wave compatibility. I even reached out to Samsung, hoping they’d have a dishwasher that plays nice with SmartThings, but unfortunately, they don’t. 
I stumbled upon a model that claims to be compatible, but upon closer inspection, it seems to be a dead end. Has anyone else had success finding a smart dishwasher that works with SmartThings? Any tips or recommendations would be incredibly appreciated! 
I’m also curious if there are any workarounds for controlling a non-smart dishwasher through SmartThings. Maybe a smart plug or some kind of automation? Let me know your thoughts!
