Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my recent success with integrating the Lutron Pico 3-Button With Raise/Lower remote controls into my home automation setup. It’s been a fantastic experience, and I thought I’d walk through how I got everything working smoothly.
I started by setting up the remotes to control on/off, brightness, and even store a favorite setting using a Python script. The process involved some trial and error, especially since it’s been a while since I wrote Python code, but the end result has been worth it. I now have seamless control over my dimmable lights, and it’s been a joy to use.
One thing I found particularly useful was configuring the center button to store and retrieve a favorite setting. This has added a layer of convenience that I hadn’t anticipated. The ability to control over 20 lights with just a few remotes has transformed how I interact with my lighting system.
I’d love to hear from others who have successfully integrated similar devices or have tips for optimizing their setups. Let’s keep the sharing going! ![]()
