I’ve been exploring the world of smart lighting and recently decided to upgrade my setup with a 3-meter COB LED strip. After successfully integrating an RGBW LED strip with a Magic Home controller for OpenHAB, I was eager to see if the same setup would work with COB LEDs.
Initially, I faced some uncertainty since I couldn’t find any Magic Home sets specifically designed for COB LEDs. I reached out to the community and received some fantastic insights. It turns out that while the Magic Home controller isn’t officially designed for COB LEDs, it can still work with them if you configure it correctly.
I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the results. The integration process was straightforward, and the COB LEDs performed exceptionally well. The flexibility of the Neon Rope, combined with its smooth light flow, made it a perfect addition to my gaming setup. It’s amazing how such a small change can elevate the ambiance of a room.
For anyone looking to integrate COB LEDs into their OpenHAB setup, I’d recommend checking out the Magic Home controller. With a bit of tweaking, it can work wonders. If you have any questions or tips, feel free to share them below! ![]()
