Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in setting up a comprehensive pool pump, heater, and salt water system controller using Home Assistant. After some research and tweaking, I found the perfect blueprint that not only controls the pool pump and heater but also manages my salt water system. This setup allows me to run the pump based on pool temperature, ensuring the heater starts when needed and stops once the desired temperature is reached. It’s also great for maintaining a minimum amount of pump and salt water system run hours each day. I added a time sensor to block pump starts during nighttime, which has been working perfectly.
