Successful Integration of Shelly Devices for Smart Automation

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Shelly devices into my smart home setup. I’ve been exploring ways to automate my home without breaking the bank, and Shelly devices have been a game-changer for me. :rocket:

I started with the Shelly 2.5, which I’ve installed to control my outdoor lighting. The setup was surprisingly straightforward using the Shelly app, and the integration with my existing smart home ecosystem has been seamless. The ability to automate these lights based on sunset and sunrise times has been a huge convenience, especially during those busy weekdays when I don’t want to manually adjust them.

One challenge I faced was with the calibration of a motorized shade. Initially, the device wasn’t responding as expected, but after some research and reaching out to the community, I found that adjusting the calibration settings and ensuring the motor’s end positions were correctly programmed solved the issue. It’s been running smoothly ever since! :muscle:

I’m now looking to expand my setup with additional Shelly devices, such as the Shelly RGBIC for my indoor lighting. I’m excited to see how this will enhance my home’s ambiance and add another layer of automation to my daily routine. :star2:

If anyone has tips or recommendations for integrating Shelly devices, I’d love to hear them! Happy automating! :dart:
