I wanted to share my recent experience integrating multiple devices from different brands into a seamless automation system. After some research and trial and error, I managed to create a daily ‘Wake Up Call’ routine that automatically activates my Wyze camera, Govee lights, and Sonos speaker every morning at 7 AM.
The setup involved creating a custom automation rule in the Home Assistant platform. The Wyze camera starts recording to ensure no activity is missed during the night, the Govee lights gradually brighten to simulate sunrise, and the Sonos plays my favorite playlist.
