Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you all well! I’m thrilled to share my recent success in integrating several Zigbee devices into my smart home setup. It’s been quite an adventure, and I wanted to document my journey and perhaps seek some advice for the next steps.
I started with the Aqara single switch T1, which I’ve successfully paired with my Homey Pro 23. The process was smooth, and I must say, the integration has been seamless. However, I encountered a hiccup with a pair of switches that initially refused to connect. After some troubleshooting and reaching out to the community, I managed to resolve the issue, and now they’re working perfectly!
One of my latest projects involved setting up a solar-powered outdoor floodlight for my shed. It’s been a game-changer, especially since I couldn’t run an extension cord. The installation was straightforward, and the device has been reliable, providing excellent visibility during the evenings.
I also wanted to mention the acquisition of Centralite by Ezlo. It’s exciting to see how companies are expanding their offerings, especially with the addition of Zigbee to their Z-Wave solutions. I’m curious to explore how this might enhance my current setup.
Currently, I’m working on migrating my Broadlink commands from OH3 to OH4. I’ve managed to get the newly recorded commands working, but the old ones are still a mystery. I’d love to hear if anyone has encountered similar issues or has tips on how to migrate those records effectively.
