I have a Zooz Wave Plus power switch controlling it, and while I could see the energy usage in the Habitat app, I wanted a more straightforward way to log when it turned on and off.
After some research and a bit of trial and error, I finally got it working! Now, every time the washing machine starts or stops, it logs the time, and I can easily check how many times it was used over a week or two. It’s super handy, especially since I share the house with others, and I want to make sure everything is being used fairly.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what I did:
