I started by removing unnecessary smartapps and zigbee devices from my V1 setup the day before the migration. This step was crucial as it simplified the transition process.On the day of migration, I began by removing the remaining apps and zigbee devices. I handled my zwave devices one by one, which made the process manageable. After removing V1, I installed V2 and started adding devices room by room. This method worked well and kept me organized. The new app’s Smart Lighting and SHM features were a pleasant surprise, as they streamlined my setup and reduced the need for multiple smartapps.One tip I would emphasize is to review your existing smartapps and routines before migration. Some functionalities might now be integrated into the new app, so it’s worth taking the time to declutter your setup. I also ordered a MiniMote to assist with zwave devices, which arrived just in time and has been a great addition to my system.I’m thrilled with how everything came together and the improved experience V2 offers.
