The key was connecting a retractive switch to the ZigBee module and wiring everything up through Z2M.2. The Surprising Fix: Initially, I thought adjusting brightness while off would either turn the lights on or have no effect. To my delight, the system registered the change, and the lights came on at the set brightness when I pressed the physical switch!3. Automation Magic: Now, I can set automations to dim the lights at night.
