Successfully Automating TV and Philips Lights After Firmware Update

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent experience with automating my TV and Philips lights after a firmware update. I’ve been using a CCU2 system for a while now, and everything was working smoothly until I updated the software to version 2.31.25. Unfortunately, this update caused some of my scripts to stop working, particularly the ones controlling my TV through the Mediola gateway. While my Philips lamps still responded perfectly, the TV wouldn’t turn off as it should.

I decided to dive into the problem and started by checking if the Mediola gateway was correctly configured. After some research, I realized that the firmware on my Mediola gateway was outdated. Updating it resolved the issue, and now my scripts are functioning as expected again. It’s great to have everything back in sync!

If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I’d recommend checking for firmware updates on all connected devices. Sometimes a simple update can make a world of difference. Feel free to share your own automation tips or experiences below—I’d love to hear how others are streamlining their smart home setups!
