Hi everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Shelly devices into my Home Assistant setup. I’ve been using Shelly for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my smart home ecosystem. However, I recently encountered an issue while trying to install the Shelly integration in Home Assistant. The installation window would pop up, but it would never complete, leaving me a bit puzzled.
After some research and troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue might be related to my Home Assistant version. I was running version 0.116.2, and it seemed like the integration wasn’t compatible. I decided to update my Home Assistant to the latest version, and voilà! The Shelly integration installed seamlessly.
Now, I’m able to control my Shelly devices effortlessly. It’s amazing how much smoother everything runs with the updated software. If anyone else is having trouble with Shelly integration, I’d highly recommend checking your Home Assistant version and ensuring it’s up to date.
