Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating a smart plug with my underfloor heating system. It’s been a journey, but I’m thrilled with the result!
I’ve been using Tado for thermostat control, and while it’s fantastic for managing temperatures, I wanted a seamless way to control the underfloor heating pump directly from the app. After some research, I decided to use a Z-Wave smart wall plug as an intermediary. It took a bit of tinkering with Homey flows, but I managed to link the plug to my heating zone. Now, whenever there’s a demand for heat, the plug switches on, and the pump starts running automatically. It’s such a neat setup!
