Successfully Integrated Thermostat with Additional Sensors

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a successful integration I recently accomplished with my thermostat. I’ve been using a generic thermostat alongside a Xiaomi sensor to track temperature, humidity, and pressure. Initially, I was only displaying the temperature, but I wanted to make the most of the sensor’s capabilities by including humidity and pressure data as well. After some research and tinkering, I managed to configure the thermostat to display all three metrics. It was a bit of a learning curve, but breaking it down into smaller steps made it manageable. I utilized the Lovelace UI to customize the dashboard, which allowed me to create a card that neatly displays all the necessary information in one place. This setup has been incredibly helpful, especially during weather changes. Knowing the humidity and pressure levels gives me a better understanding of how the environment affects my comfort. Plus, it’s satisfying to see all the data consolidated neatly on my dashboard. If anyone is looking to integrate additional sensors with their thermostat, I’d be happy to share the steps I took or troubleshoot any issues you might encounter. It’s a great way to enhance your smart home setup and make it more informative and user-friendly.Happy tinkering everyone! :rocket:
