Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success in integrating my Wyze Cam with Home Assistant. It wasn’t the smoothest process, but with a little help from my friend and some tinkering, I got it working perfectly!
First, I knew I needed to use the Tiny Cam Pro app. I decided to download the APK file since it was more straightforward for me. After installing the app, I followed the steps to add the camera by selecting the right info for my Wyze Cam. The next part was enabling the web server through the hamburger icon and setting up a username and password for security. I wasn’t sure if everything was working at first, but when I checked the server address in the orange box, it confirmed that the setup was successful!
The final step was adding the camera to Home Assistant. I configured the settings with the IP address of my server and set up the MJPEG stream. To my delight, the Wyze Cam appeared in Home Assistant without any issues! It’s amazing how much smoother things run now that the camera is integrated properly.
