Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in integrating Alexa into my smart home setup. It’s been a journey, but the results are fantastic!
I’ve always been a fan of voice control, and Alexa has been a great addition to my home. I recently decided to take it a step further by connecting my Alexa routines directly through my HA/Node-Red setup. Initially, I tried using the Shelly-Button, but it was a bit of a workaround. However, I stumbled upon a much smoother solution!
I found this amazing guide here and the Node-Red extension here. Now, I can directly control my Alexa devices and routines right from HA without having to relearn all my devices. It’s been a game-changer for managing my smart home ecosystem, especially with my Funksteckdosen, Radio, TV, and Broadlink integration.
The best part is how seamless it all works together. I can now trigger routines with just a voice command or through my existing HA setup. It’s incredibly satisfying to see everything sync up perfectly. I’m so glad I took the time to explore this integration!
