After some research, I found that using the Aqara Home app was the key to getting everything set up properly. I started by installing the Aqara Home app and setting up the lock and hub within the app. It was a straightforward process, and the app provided clear instructions for the initial setup.
Once the lock and hub were set up, the next step was to integrate them into Home Assistant. I discovered that the Aqara M2 hub was essential for this integration. After ensuring that both the lock and hub were properly configured in the Aqara app, I moved on to the Home Assistant setup. I added the Matter (beta) integration in Home Assistant, which allowed me to bind the Aqara hub to Home Assistant.
