Successfully Integrating Dyson, Tuya, and Shelly Devices in Home Assistant

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in integrating multiple smart home devices from different brands into my Home Assistant setup. :tada:

After some trial and error, I managed to connect my Dyson purifier, a Tuya Zigbee gas detector, and several Shelly switches seamlessly. I had initially faced some hurdles, especially with the Dyson integration, but thanks to the community’s support and some troubleshooting, everything is now running smoothly!

Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:

  • Dyson Integration: I updated my Home Assistant to the latest version and made sure my Dyson account credentials were correctly configured. The key was ensuring the device IP was properly set in the config file.
  • Tuya Zigbee Detector: I used the Sonoff Zigbee bridge, which worked perfectly once I ensured the correct pairing process. It’s great to have this detector integrated without needing a separate Tuya hub!
  • Shelly Devices: These were a breeze to set up using the Shelly app and their REST API integration in Home Assistant. I love how customizable they are!

This setup has really enhanced my home automation experience. I can now monitor air quality, detect gas leaks, and control my lights all from one place. :star2:

If anyone is looking to integrate multiple brands, I’d highly recommend starting with a solid Home Assistant setup and taking it step by step. The community here is fantastic, and there’s always help available if you run into issues.

Thanks for all the support, and happy automating! :rocket:
