Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success in integrating Google Calendar into my HABpanel setup. It was a bit of a journey, but I’m thrilled to have it working smoothly now. 
Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed by the setup process. I followed several tutorials and guides, but nothing seemed to work at first. The calendar widget in my HABpanel just showed ‘NN:NN’ instead of the actual events, and I kept getting error messages in the logs. It was pretty frustrating, but I refused to give up!
After some research, I realized that the issue might be related to the configuration files. I decided to start fresh and carefully go through each step again. I made sure my Google Calendar URL was correct and double-checked the Caldav settings. I also ensured that the certificate verification was disabled, which seemed to be a common fix for similar issues.
Finally, after tweaking the configuration and restarting my openHAB instance, everything started working perfectly! The calendar events now display correctly in my HABpanel, and I can easily see my schedule at a glance. It’s such a relief and a huge productivity boost!
