After struggling for weeks with the HMIP-SRH sensors not pairing with my CCU3, I finally found a solution and wanted to share my experience in case others are facing the same issue.
I started by thoroughly checking the firmware on my CCU3, ensuring it was up to date. I also tried resetting the sensors and performing a factory reset on the CCU3 multiple times. Despite these efforts, the sensors still wouldn’t pair.
What ultimately worked for me was a combination of steps:
- Ensuring the sensors were fully charged before attempting to pair them.
- Using the Learn-in mode on the CCU3 during a specific time window when network interference was minimal.
- Keeping the sensors within a very short distance (about 1 meter) from the CCU3 during the pairing process.
I also discovered that using the Z-Wave Network Analyzer tool provided some insights into the network health, which helped me troubleshoot potential issues.
If you’re facing similar problems, I highly recommend checking the official support forums for the latest updates and troubleshooting guides. It’s a relief to finally have all my sensors working seamlessly again!
