Hello everyone! I’ve been working on integrating my Hue and Tradfri bulbs with my new Hubitat hub, and I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others who might be tackling a similar project.
First, I did some research and found that integrating Hue bulbs through the Hue hub is the most reliable method. It’s straightforward and ensures seamless control. For the Tradfri bulbs, I considered a few options and decided to connect them directly to Hubitat. This approach worked well for me, though I understand others might prefer different setups.
One thing I struggled with initially was ensuring all devices communicated smoothly. I had to experiment a bit with the configurations, but once everything was set up, the system worked like a charm. I especially appreciate how Hubitat allows for custom rules, which I’ve used to automate lighting based on my daily routines.
