Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent success in integrating my LG Thinq appliances with Vera! 
I’ve been eyeing this integration for a while, especially since LG opened their SmartThinq API back in 2016. After some research and a bit of trial and error, I finally managed to get everything up and running smoothly. For those who are curious, I started by exploring the available plugins and APIs. I was pleasantly surprised by how much control I now have over my appliances—whether it’s adjusting the settings on my washing machine or monitoring my air conditioner from afar. The best part? The integration works seamlessly with Alexa and even offers some limited functionality through IFTTT, which is a nice bonus. One thing I’d love to see in the future is more comprehensive support for all LG Thinq devices, but for now, I’m really happy with how things are working out.
