Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success in integrating my Lutron Aurora dimmer with Tuya bulbs. I’ve been experimenting with different smart home setups, and this one has been a bit of a puzzle, but I finally cracked it!
Initially, I was using the Room Lighting app with my Lutron Aurora, but it just wasn’t giving me the control I wanted. After some research and trial and error, I discovered that creating a rule-based system within my hub was the way to go. I set up a rule where the Lutron dimmer controls the brightness of the Tuya bulbs, and it works perfectly!
For anyone else looking to do something similar, here’s a quick tip: use a variable to map the dimmer’s position to the bulb’s brightness level. It’s a simple solution that makes a big difference. I also found that using HABPanel to visualize the dimmer’s state was super helpful for troubleshooting.
