I’ve got a mix of devices from Govee, Vera, and Simon. It started with some RGB strips and bulbs from Govee, and recently I added a couple of M1 Matter strips. While setting up the first one was a breeze with Alexa, getting it to bind with Apple Home took a few retries and resets. But persistence paid off, and now it’s working seamlessly alongside my Vera system!

One thing I learned is to always check the compatibility matrix before purchasing new devices. This helps in avoiding potential integration hiccups down the line. Also, ensuring all firmware is up-to-date has been crucial for smooth operations.

The native support was a bit limited, but with some research and the help of community plugins, I managed to get everything working as intended. I found a neat way to use a single button for multiple functions by implementing a double- and triple-click feature. This was a lifesaver for saving space while keeping functionality intact. It took some trial and error, but now I can control my lights and roller shutters with just one button!
