Successfully Integrating Multiple Brands with Homey Pro

I recently made the switch from my old Devolo smart home system to the Homey Pro, and I must say, it’s been a fantastic experience so far! I’ve managed to integrate several sensors and actuators from Devolo into Homey Pro using the WebApp on my PC, and it’s worked out smoothly for the most part. Setting up flows for monitoring and control has been a breeze, and I’m really impressed with how well the system handles everything from heating thermostats to sensor signals.

However, I did run into a bit of a hiccup with the mobile app on iOS. Initially, I was frustrated because tapping the buttons for my included devices didn’t trigger any actions. But after some troubleshooting and reaching out to the community, I discovered that adjusting the settings and ensuring all firmware updates were installed resolved the issue. Now, I can seamlessly control my devices and view real-time data from my phone, which is a huge convenience.

One of the most rewarding parts of this transition has been experimenting with different brands and seeing how well they work together under the Homey ecosystem. For instance, I’ve been able to create a unified system that includes both Devolo and Tuya devices, which wasn’t as straightforward with my previous setup. This level of integration has really opened up possibilities for creating more complex and efficient home automation routines.

I’d love to hear from others who have successfully integrated multiple brands into their smart home setups—what challenges did you face, and how did you overcome them? It’s inspiring to see the creativity and problem-solving within this community!
