Initially, I encountered a puzzling issue where one of my plugs displayed an incorrect voltage reading of 2200V instead of the expected 220V. After reaching out to Tuya support, I learned that adjusting the scale parameter in the device settings resolved the issue. This experience taught me the importance of thoroughly reviewing device configurations and not hesitating to seek help from manufacturer support.
Expanding My Smart Home
I then moved on to integrating my Innova heat pump HVAC system. Using the Modbus protocol, I successfully connected the system to OpenHAB. This integration allows me to monitor and control my heating system remotely, which has been a game-changer for energy efficiency and convenience.
